My super-cute friend Maddie has apparently nominated me for a"Stylish Blogger Award," -thank you Maddie! Wow! How nice of you! So here's how it goes:

3. Award 7 blogging buddies this "Stylish Blogger Award"
7 facts about me:
1) I'm kind of a mac snob.
2) I refuse to use squiggly light bulbs. Sorry folks, I'm just not buying the man-made-global-climate-change thing (note: it used to be called "global warming"). If the earth is a degree warmer, so be it. I'm sure the Lord has it all under control.
3) I make really good pie. Now that was just blatant bragging! My mom taught me, and she knows what she's doing in the kitchen. Her pie crust recipe is the best I've ever tasted. Banana cream, lemon meringue & pumpkin are my favorites.
4) Ferris Bueller's Day Off is my favorite movie. We named our son, Cameron, after Ferris' best friend Cameron Frye. I often sing "when Cameron was in Egypt's land... let my Cameron go," to Cam at bedtime. It really bugs him.
5) The older I get, the braver I get. I like it. When I'm 60 I'll be drunk with power.
6) I seriously love corn dogs. Not the kind you bake at home, the really yummy deep fried version, with lots of mustard. The $6.00 corn dog at Disneyland is pretty much the best thing I've ever tasted.
7) I've been watching Hoarders and Heavy a lot lately... probably because they make me feel like the cleanest, thinnest person ever! I also love How I Met Your Mother, which is unbelievably funny to me.

So I'm reading through your list and thinking...I'm a mac snob too...and yes, you can cook/bake...and not just pies. I often dream about the fried ice cream you made at Ricks...and I mean A LOT:)....and your scones...hmmm...hungry.
