Vegas... the DMZ

That's what Brian called it, the Demilitarized Zone, meaning it's neutral and we could eat whatever we wanted and it wouldn't count. In other words, what happens in Vegas... well you know the rest.
April 11th was our 11th anniversary, and Brian planned a weekend getaway to Las Vegas. We stayed at the Venetian in an amazing suite on the 32nd floor. We enjoyed some fine dining, a massage at the spa, room service, and Phantom of the Opera (which was my favorite part).

This is my favorite picture from the trip, this is a ceiling in the Bellagio, so beautiful!

The lobby of our hotel, amazing!

The Eiffel Tower, what you don't see is Brian looking for French people to smack.

Eiffel Tower at night

Brian sleeping on his bench...

because just like Jan, I have space issues:)

Like I said, "What happens in Vegas." The amazing chocolate covered strawberries, sold in the hotel, that I just had to buy every time we walked by. On the fourth stop I realized they were $5 a piece. Oops... I must have eaten $100 in strawberries. Brian is too good of a husband to tell me these things!

We ordered a movie so we could enjoy our living room...

and the amazing view from our window, which looked like this...

I mistakingly thought this was one of my favorite TV characters, Dr. Tobias Funke

This poor victim of my camera's lens.... I had to do it. Dude, two plaids?

This may have been Brian's favorite moment, the frozen hot chocolate from Serendipity, so yummy. What an awesome husband I have, it was the best trip ever!!

I'm so glad you had a great time! You do have a good man!
Are you sure you don't want to try to jazz up your style with plaids?
