"Choose Your Weapon"

I heard these words coming from the living room, and in my curiosity, walked around the corner to find this:

I should have known!  Light saber duels have become quite common in our home - ever since Dallan first held this choice Jedi weapon and discovered that like his father and brother, he too has the force.  A fierce battle it was...

Poor Katy! Such pesky little brothers you have, hmmmm?

She asked if she could borrow my Harry Potter books last night, and we haven't heard a peep out of her since (with the exception of "Mom!  Cameron and Dallan won't leave me alone!!")
I'm so glad she's enjoying one of my favorite books!

Dallan is just like every other one-year-old, into every thing.  He loves the kitchen and bathroom cabinets, and pulling all the contents out onto the floor.  The other day, I was drying my hair as Dallan made his usual mess, when I noticed that he had disappeared.  He hadn't gone far...

That's Cameron's Karate belt he's wearing, our future Ninja.

My friend Angi invited us to their block's Easter Egg Hunt/brunch.  It was a lot of fun and the kids had a great time!

Happy egg hunters

Cam finds the jackpot

Always happy Katy

Dally and his good friend, Olivia

These kids sure do a great job of keeping me entertained, never a dull moment!

What cute kids!! I love that they teach the force at such a young age. Boys just seem to come pre wired for swords and trucks! Katy sure has good taste in books. I can't even tell how many times I have read those books.

Ah, I love boys. And girls who read Harry Potter.

The other day, my 3yo was standing in the doorway with a sword, and he says to me, "None shall pass." Nerd. Where do they learn this stuff?
