Toe update: So, I've been to three pointe classes now, and no blood yet. I think it's time to give up on the nail polish though... all the tape (that is truly essential) is peeling it off. It feels like it's peeling my skin off, so the nail polish I guess isn't all that bad.
I really LOVE this class, even though it's ridiculous how much it hurts my poor feet. Something you may not know, and that I was surprised to discover: it hurts much worse to go up on pointe on the carpet rather than the hard floor. This makes no sense to me.
On another note: I forgot that I've been using my little point-and-shoot camera lately. I just uploaded pics from the last month, so here's a few recent (& forgotten) events-

..and five minutes of happy play time without any screaming or fighting... the kids spent their allowance money on some new lego ninjas, Dallan immediately lost his and has been trying to steal Katy & Cam's all weekend. There has been a lot of weeping, wailing & gnashing of teeth.
it's good to see that deep down they really do like each other:)
