1. Cameron and his bike.
*note: I realize how much the following makes us sounds like terrible parents.
Cameron just learned how to ride his bike. As sad as that sounds, we really do have an excuse. Brian removed the training wheels about a year ago, but until last weekend, we haven't been able to motivate Cam to learn. I blame the razor scooter. Why learn to ride your bike when you can easily hop on your scooter instead?
We finally bugged him enough to give it another go, and now riding his bike is the ONLY thing he wants to do. Fortunately, it's Spring Break and the weather is fine. He's obsessed!
2. Dallan and his cars & duys (guys).

Everywhere Dal goes, he's got his arms full of cars and guys.

He's got to have his entourage even in his sleep.
3. Katy and The Far Side.

Brian has the entire Gary Larson, Far Side collection. They are two, very large, very heavy books. Katy lugs them all over the house and will read them for hours, laughing her head off. I love that she has such a great sense of humor.
One of my faves...
"Thomas Sullivan, a blacksmith who attended the original Thanksgiving dinner, is generally credited as being the first person to stick olives on all his fingers."
4. Brian and making Dallan's face look ugly. (This is very hard to do)

This simply doesn't do Brian's ugly-face-making abilities justice. He has actually brought me to tears before. Not laughing tears; genuine "I don't appreciate you making my beautiful baby look ugly," sad mommy tears.
5. Me and the classics.
I recently picked up one of my all time favorites:

and when I was in Boise, I found this in my old room...

... and finished it on the plane ride home.
I also brought home a copy of David Copperfield that my mom gave to me. I can't wait to read it. I'll start as soon as I'm finished with A Thousand Splendid Suns, which is not a classic but I am enjoying it very much.
Which brings me to my other obsession... Jane Austen. Although I already own Pride & Prejudice, Sense & Sensibility and Emma, in addition to my giant Complete Works of Jane Austen; my heart skipped a beat when I saw this at Barnes & Noble last week:

This copy of Austen's complete novels is much lovelier than mine and I must have it. I suppose that I am a bit obsessed.
