We just returned from our trip to California, and in 3 days we'll be off to Idaho. Laundry, packing, laundry, packing....that's my life now. But it's all worth it because we've been having a great time. We spent a few days at Brian's parents house in Valencia, before leaving the kids with Nana and Papa to spend a few days in Anaheim. We met up with our wonderful friends, the Kempton's, Seeley's and Egbert's for some kid-free fun! Two days at Disneyland and California Adventure and a fun day with just the girls (lunch, shopping and pedicures). I felt a little guilty about going to Disneyland without my kids, but got over that pretty quick!! Last time we took the kids, I was pregnant with Dallan so I didn't go on any rides. This time we went on almost every ride twice, and Brian even talked me into riding California Screamin' and The Tower of Terror. Peer pressure is a powerful thing!

On Monday, I took the kids to see my dear friend Karen and her kids. Her son Adam and Katy were best friends when we lived in Simi Valley. They are only two weeks apart. Karen and I served together in Relief Society when we were both pregnant, she had Audrey 2 weeks after I had Cameron. The kids had a great time together and were sad to say goodbye.
"The number three's" - Karen's daughter Claire (such a cutie), and Dallan were both born in March, one year apart. It was wonderful to see Karen again!
