the hunger strikes back

Dallan has been particularly two-ish lately (which is really starting to worry me, because in my experience, 3 is much worse). One problem is that once 5:00 pm hits, he gets really cranky and starts tormenting everyone, shrieks through bath time, then gets really wired and dances around naked right before he crashes at night. Brian calls him "our little domestic terrorist."
Another problem, the one that's driving me insane, is his hunger strike. If it isn't a cup of milk, or better yet, "kookoo kaka" (chocolate milk), he wants nothing to do with it. Sometimes I can get him to eat "toes & dam" (toast & jam), or "et-mail" (oatmeal), but he normally won't eat breakfast. Here's Dally discovering cream of wheat this morning. He loved it, he kept saying "nummy." I agree.

On the bright side, about 85% of the time, he's pretty sweet and adorable. His love of all things Star Wars is quite endearing. It's pretty much all he talks about. I got him a Star Wars lunch box to carry all of his guys in, he loves it and takes it everywhere. He will literally sit through an entire Star Wars movie. The Empire Strikes Back seems to be his favorite.

Dal's Star Wars vocabulary:
tar wars (obviously)
tar wars duys (guys)
yuke (Luke)
ope-bet (Boba fett)
tewie (Chewie)
hoooo-paa (darth vader, for the sound he makes)
A.T. Walker (that's exactly how it sounds)
palkin (millenium falcon)
R2 (this is what he calls both R2D2 & C3PO)

I wonder where he gets it from:)
