There's No Place Like Home

Why I love Idaho...

Have you ever seen the Blue Angels fly at a tiny little airport in the middle of miles and miles of farm land?  It makes you proud to be an American.  My awesome parents took us to an air show, it was a thrill.  The kids were quite impressed with the Blue Angels.  As we watched them fly upside down going a million miles an hour Cameron said, "that looks like it's hard to do." I'll say. My stomach was turning just watching them flip and dive...amazing.

on our way to the air show

Cam enjoying the cool planes

Cam & Katy

Dallan with cotton in his ears...he SLEPT through the Blue Angels! If you've never been to an air show, the sound shakes you to your very core!

FISHING!!! Who says you have to actually catch a fish to have fun?  I used to love fishing with my family when I was growing up.  It's so fun to share it with my kids now.  Two years ago they each caught two fish, no such luck this year.

Cookouts in the back yard.  There is no place I would rather be than my parent's back yard.  Throw in a fire and a bag of marshmallows, we're talking heaven.

mmmmmmmm S'mores!!

Mouth full of mallows

finishing the night off with a game of badminton.

Nana's kisses.  Is there anything better than giving your parents adorable grandchildren to squeeze?

So sweet!

She's at it again

How cute is this kid?!!  I thought my chances of having yet another beautiful baby were slim, but I was wrong.

We had a great time!  It was nice to get out of the heat and enjoy the cool 90 degree Boise weather.  It's good to be home, we missed our daddy terribly!  He may have missed us a little too.

Oh my gosh, I wanna go to Idaho. That looks like it was wonderful times! I love it when our kids get to experience some of our own childhood. I can't believe that Dallin slept through the whole plane show! That's impressive!!!

    Sarah,

It looks like you had a great time in Idaho! I'm glad you were able to squeeze that trip in before the end of summer. I know you were homesick! However, I'm SO glad you're back. I missed you!

I love a good vacation. It always amazes me what babies will sleep through, especially since I am always telling my kids to be quiet for no real reason apparently.

I love Boise, and aren't adoring grandparents the best! Cute pictures, Sarah, but your kids are growing up...wah!

    Sarah,
I thought I'd visit your blog and see if there were any updated pictures of "my boy". No such luck! (I think it's been 24 hours since I've seen him.) Are you sure you don't want to leave Dallan with us this weekend? You know we'd love to have him and I promise we wouldn't spoil him...
